I felt the side taps working different muscles.
Is it common to find that working the leg whilst on the forearms is harder? I felt I didn’t open up as much as I do with hands on the floor.
It probably doesn’t help that it’s been a few weeks since I did any Pilates 😣
Sorry, I only just realised I hadn’t replied. It depends what you are used to. I wouldn’t say forearms down is that different to hand on the mat in terms of difficulty, but if you aren’t used to it, it will feel more challenging.
In some ways, your leg has to travel a bit higher to be in line with the body, which I find opens it up more, so if you are stiffer in the front of the hips, it will feel less of an open.
