Pilates and the Wall
Good morning,
For today’s session, all you need is a mat and a wall. Yes, that’s right, we are going to use the wall as a prop!
Most of the exercises you are familiar with, we are adding a twist to them. There are a couple of harder exercises we haven’t done before.
As we are using the wall, try to do the lying on your back exercises with the spine and pelvis in neutral. The wall helps support you. It means you can start strengthening the core in its neutral position without risking injury to the lower back. Pull the waist/core in like you are wearing a corset.
