Athletic Mat Workout
Morning!
Today’s session is athletic mat, which is more cardio based Pilates. If you’ve ever seen any of Joseph Pilates videos of teaching a class or doing exercise, you’ll see that they are often faster paced, they flow from one exercise to another.
Today’s class will get your heart rate up, it flows from one exercise to another (which is an important part of Pilates) and some of the moves will be harder than usual, but you can do easier options or miss the harder stuff out.
Before I filmed the session, I was feeling quite stiff and sore. By the time I finished it, I felt so stretched and loose in my body. I really felt the benefit, so I hope you do too.
